This past month has been a busy one. The biggest announcement we have to make is that the entirety of the demo has been written in its first draft, and will be put in the build in December as soon as we finish the first round of editing. In it’s current state, we’re looking at 20 scenes at a total of 30,322 words, though that’s likely to change between now and the demo’s actual release.
While Mehkanik, Hearts and All-Maker edit and refine the writing, everyone else will keep creating assets for the demo as quickly as possible. The crowd visual effect is more complex than we initially thought so we’re still working away at that. We’re still working on sprites, music and CGs as well, of course. We still have a lot of work to do, but things are going at a brisk pace.
Speaking of CGs, it occurred to us that we have yet to release a finalized one. So we’re doing that. Now. HERE YOU GO.
The lineart for our CGs are drawn by All-Maker, with Curchack coloring. Since our backgrounds are rendered at a very basic level in 3D prior to being painted over, we can screencap them at different angles to ensure that the CGs are as accurate as possible. We hope you’re happy with the result.
